Pleasure Pools has always been a family owned business, dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in swimming pool construction. Edward D. Hammersla started his business in 1949 and became incorporated in 1950. That same year he began installing vinyl liner swimming pools. The next year he changed to more reliable concrete swimming pools to meet the growing demand for quality, long-lasting pools.

Paul Horichs, Edward Hammersla’s son-in-law, came aboard in 1973 and began building and selling pools. Paul became owner of the business and has continued in the tradition of building high quality pools for over 30 years.

Damon Hammersla, a third generation pool builder, started working in the swimming pool industry in 1986. He started building pools with Paul Horichs in 1990 and in 1998 he kept with family tradition and became owner of Pleasure Pools.

Today Pleasure Pools continues to build quality, long lasting residential and commercial pools, and we plan to do so for many more years to come.
